ITC is shifting to the research and innovation driven institution in engineering and technology. Research and Innovation Center (RIC) of ITC was officially established in 2015 by Ministry of Education Youth and Sport of Cambodia. The main vision of RIC is to become the leading center in engineering and technology for research and to translate the research results for social benefit applications such as commercialization or policy development. To ensure the work efficiency with cross-cutting research fields, the platform of RIC is currently composed of five research units including Energy Technology and Management, Food Technology and Nutrition, Mechatronics and Information Technology, Material Science and Structure, and Water and Environment. Furthermore, to realize the goal with sustainable development, university-industry networking plays the main role beyond research and innovation activities. Indeed, RIC need to sharpen the products of individual research unit to fulfill the requirement of stakeholders.
